The contractor was chosen after the second stage of the tender negotiations, reached also by two other participants - "ELL Germany" GmbH and "S-Rail Lease" Ltd. At the negotiations, on equal other renting conditions, the first ranked participant offered the most economically advantageous offer of BGN 8 468 400.00 without VAT, which is lower than the estimated budget in the procedure.
The price includes the rental value, technical maintenance, repair and spare parts, as well as insurance and local certification and adoption. The scope of the tender also includes training of the daily supporting staff.
The term of the contract is 24 months and with the possibility of extension with another 12 months and also contract option to rent another 5 additional locomotives.
The delivery of the first locomotives will be from 60 to 90 days after the signing of the contract.
