Today the new Executive Director of Bulgarian State Railways" EAD, Pencho Popov, entered into office. As main priorities in his work he defined the implementation of strict measures for financial control with a view to overcoming the difficult financial situation of the company; reduction of administrative staff and the proactive commercial policy aiming at the restoration of customer trust in the railway carrier.

Today the new Executive director of Bulgarian State Railways" EAD, Hristo Monov, officially entered upon office. The whole professional career of Mr Monov has been committed to the railway system. He has taken different positions in the sphere of railway operations and cargo services.

Since yesterday Bulgarian State Railways" EAD have been transporting only one train per day for Kremikovtsi. The freight composition hauls coal from Bourgas for the metallurgical plant. The railway operators performs this single transport to ensure the technological minimum of the metallurgical process. In previous months, Bulgarian State Railways" EAD transported on the average 17 trains per day for the plant.
